The park, which has been closed for more than 10 years due to structural safety concerns but is scheduled to reopen in the fall, is one of 17 Bronx parks getting the funding they need from the city to reopen. Amenities will include play equipment, a spray shower, new seating, pavement, lighting, fencing, and greenery.
